Yu-Gi-Oh Tabletop Format - Merlantean Abyss

Yu-Gi-Oh Tabletop Format (YGOT) is a format that infuses the combos and strategies of the modern YGO meta with the pace of play of earlier YGO by adapting the TCG to a 9 x 9 grid-based game board format where the player pilots an "avacard" (a designated link monster listed in the side deck) across the game board to eliminate the opponent's life points or capture the opposing players' avacard, summoning monsters and setting spells and traps along the way. This format is compatible for 2-4 players.

This deck built from the Atlantean and Mermail archetypes is a starting point to understand the format and should not be considered competitive-focused. It primarily focuses on bringing out your XYZ monsters and swarming the field with monsters while also recycling them to your deck and hand, often with high risk, high reward tactics. Worldsea Dragon Zealantis is the avacard.
